Car Cemetary | Vintage Muscle Car Inspired Limited Edition Artwork | By Joan Seed
A love letter from Joan
Darling,
If Freud had a Cadillac and Dali an ice cream cone, they might have crashed into each other in my subconscious and birthed this strange lovechild: Car Cemetery. What can I say? I’ve always had a thing for chrome, climate collapse, and double scoops of existential dread.
This piece is my valentine to lost Americana—when gas was cheap, nails were red, and optimism melted faster than a sundae in July. Nestled in this jungle of capitalism and vegetation, the ‘57 Plymouth Belvedere doesn’t just purr, darling—it pines. For what, I don’t know. Clean air? Better decisions?
But don’t be fooled by the sorbet. It’s a Trojan horse, sweetly delivering a warning. Drive carefully. We’re all passengers now.
Love,
Joan
