“The Aftermath” | Retro-Futurist Disaster Fine Art Print | by Joan Seed

from $600.00

A love letter from Joan

Darling,

You wouldn’t believe the party we had before the end. The champagne was warm, the men were colder, and everyone swore the crash was just a metaphor. But then—bam!—metal kissed metal, and ecstasy met entropy. I suppose that’s what they mean by impact.

You call it disaster; I call it divine choreography. The living and the wrecked share the same spotlight here—equal parts horror and seduction, trembling under the orange glow of a world that just couldn’t hold itself together one more second.

If you ever find yourself in the rubble, my dear, at least have the decency to look fabulous.

Love,
Joan

“The Aftermath” by Joan Seed is a retro-futurist digital collage where passion and catastrophe collide in surreal harmony. Set against a searing post-apocalyptic sky, fragmented imagery of human ecstasy and mechanical ruin explores society’s obsession with spectacle, chaos, and desire.

Part satire, part requiem, this artwork confronts the beauty of destruction—the erotic thrill of collapse. For collectors who crave sharp wit, subversive beauty, and a wink at the end of the world.
