Our studio is based here in Montreal, Canada. However, we generally ship from our factory partner in California, United States. We now also ship from our factory partner's second location in Riga, Latvia for our European customers.

Our shirts are semi-fitted and true to size by North American standards. See the size chart at the bottom of each product pages or on our Size Chart's Page.
If your order contains printing errors or defective goods, we will, of course, take back the product and refund your money or send you a new product. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date.

Every order you receive from JOAN SEED is a unique, tailor-made item that has been specially made to order on demand. This is what separates us from more traditional clothing companies. Returned goods cannot be put back on the shelf and sold to the next customer – so what comes back to us simply lands in the charity box.
Our hours of operation for shipping are Monday through Friday, 10h30 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, excluding weekends and major holidays. Orders usually ship 2-5 business day after you order.
USA: 4-8 business days; Internationally: 6-14 business days, not including time spent at customs/border inspection facilities. Please note that this time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee.

We ship all across the USA and to almost every part of the world. Even to the Vatican!!
If the package was marked as delivered by the carrier, but the customer reports they have yet to receive it, JOAN SEED won't cover the cost of reshipping or refunding the order.
There may be cases where the delivery was made, but the package was left in an unexpected location at the customer's address. You should reach out to the carrier and inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery person. For example: “Left under the table on the back porch."
If you are unable to locate the package, you will need to place a new order to have it reshipped. We're not yet able to assist with filing claims with shipping carriers but hope to do so in the future.
You may cancel your order provided it has not already been moved to the production queue or shipped. Your order will begin to be processed one working day after your order has been placed. Please contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation.
It's never too soon to order for Christmas but it can be too late.
